As we see him mainly, we get a sense that he is the main character, the colour black gives us the sense of the genre along with the reflection of a woman in the mirror behind him, from the title and the image we get an idea of the narrative of that the little boy is maybe haunted by the woman? The little boy is in his pjs which shows that the strange things happening, usually happen in the night maybe? The low key lighting also represents this, this also gives the idea that the audience is parents or people who can relate to this. The narrative is also typical of the genre  as the mise-en-scene of the empty, low key lighting room, with just the 2  images of the little boy and the reflection of the evil woman in the mirror behind him. you can tell this is a poster as it inludes talines, production company logos, and cast and crew information.
