He is a bad person? the title of the magazine is 'famous monsters of film land' this again gives us the idea that the man in the picture is most probably a monster. The text down the side of the magazine cover is typical of a magazine trying to reach its audience, it has words such as 'strange', 'exciting', 'rare', 'monster masks', 'giant' and 'halloween'.
